A Pirate Wedding

We had so a great time providing the food for a super fun pirate Wedding this past weekend.
A very good friend decided to say her vows standing on a plank and then literally taking the plunge with her new husband into their back yard pool.

The surprise hit of the night was the Fried Plantains with Garlic Rosemary Aioli. The batter for the plantains was light and crispy made from chickpea flour & coconut milk **Bonus:completely gluten & dairy free. Mango pineapple salsa and lime coconut shrimp shooters rounded out the appetizers portion of the evening. Smoked turkey legs, coffee-chile rubbed steak skewers with black bean & papaya Caribbean rice for the main course. The crowning touch? Glad you asked a fruit sushi bar.

We had a blast creating the perfect menu and thank you Deaet & Randy for giving us the freedom to run with this unique theme!
